TUITION PLANS

We are an unaccredited program-of-study (we do not fit into any identified venue-type). We use the term COLLEGE loosely - since we offer a very personal, self-directed learning approach.  Philosophy is an interesting field, highly suited to intrapersonal exploration and discovery.  As a non-profit, we can keep our costs down, assuring that most can join us - though - our entry criteria are strict due to the physical & psychological safety issues mentioned in our SAFETY PROTOCOLS page (go back and read it if you have not done so already). We are, due to our start-up funding structure, limited to only 20-students per academic year - though we hope to increase that number as we move forward. For now, until our projected 2027 start, we are only placing interested potential students on a waiting list (contact me, the Moreu College President on our Gmail account: MOREUCOLLEGE@GMAIL.COM). I or a member of my staff will personally assist you.

Here are our basic tuition plans (these will likely change as our start-up date nears):

Tuition costs are comprehensive and do not include airfare, only the use of solo-cabins & solo-shelters (cabins in MAINE/shelters in AZUA), limited ground transportation, food & water allowances, campus maintenance, staff stipends, insurance, taxes, and miscellaneous expenses.

Prospective students can choose from the following plans:

A)  Dixfield, Maine Solo-Hermitages

These are 4-week p/p immersions (28 days - excluding airfare)

$1,800 US

(includes food, housing, logistics)

B)  Azua, Dominican Republic Solo-Hermitages

These are 6-week p/p immersions (42 days - excluding airfare)

$2,700 US

(includes food, housing, logistics)

C)  Both Dixfield, Maine AND Azua Solo-Hermitages

These are 10-week p/p immersions (70 days - excluding travel)

$4,200 US

(includes food, housing, logistics)

OTHER IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS:

Our School is NOT an eco-tourist destination; our facilities are clean & hygienic, but raw & spartan. Cabins and Shelters are no-frills learning environments, meaning, no heating, air-conditioning (but some contain a tiny wood stove), mosquito proofing, great food and bottled water.  You will sleep on new mats, with our provided, clean, sleeping bags & dedicated sheets & blankets (we wash & dry your laundry weekly); we provide safe storage for all your small personal items while on campus.

*Cellphones are prohibited on your solo-hermitages but ok-to-use at the Forest Library (Dixfield) and Long House (Azua).

WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING GLOBAL ACCREDITATION

That will translate into a program that offers a ...
