THIS COLLEGE MAY NOT BE FOR YOU!
Unless your greatest desire is to be a lay philosopher... not a philosopher in name only, but a REAL philosopher, in touch with the universe, its wisdom, its call on your life and your potential service to the world!
READ THIS CONTENT AREA CAREFULLY ... please understand that Non-Human Intelligence, in the form of preternatural (paranormal) phenomena is likely in the days & nights of your solo-hermitage (on either or both campuses). We expect that such phenomena may manifest itself in your solo-hermitage, and may include UAP's (UFO's), orbs of light, apparitions or strong sense of lost loves, animal visitations, voices, and vivid (sober) visions or dream states.
If that is something that you are not ready for, then you are encouraged NOT to apply to our college.
On the other hand, if you are ready, by that we mean, if you have a previous (personal) call or voice in those matters, or prior experiences in those areas then this program might be for you; this college will be another important milestone in your journey, and a powerful affirmation of your philosophical path going forward.
We do not expect you to be fearless, but to face your solo-hermitage with insight, and the courage that such insights bring.

We are a Dual-Campus, Solo-Education System:
We emphasize Perennial Philosophy (north campus: Dixfield, Maine, USA), and Indigenous Philosophy (south campus: Azua, Dominican Republic). (Other themes within regional Humanities & Applied Ethics.)
Our campuses are unadulterated woodlands consisting of 70 acres, surrounded by square miles of pristine forests (used with permission). The dangerous vastness of our dual campuses is a concern; all our students must be certified for wilderness safety and Leave-No-Trace certification (we provide those certification-services immediately after matriculation).
Moreu College was created by five founders: Francisco Luis Gonzalez (principal), Wandy Diaz, Jesus Cueva Gonzalez, Manny Lewis, and Hilda Alvarado; all currently serve as our Executive Board, with Francisco as its President & CEO. The MOREU name refers to Francisco's matriarchal family, in honor of their memory.
Three of our five directors identify as Native Americans, one is a Stoic philosopher, all have identified culture, the humanities (mainly religion & astronomy), and pre-Columbian history as our start-up pedagogies. More electives available.
